New Traditional

The New Traditional home embodies the “Grandmillenial” style.  The client embraces antiques, gorgeous fabrics, the use of trim and sentimental items.

This home has had 3 room makeovers.  The dining room was first.  We searched for antiques to give the space a sense of timeless elegance. The family piano is right at home with the antiques and reproductions.  The gorgeous Quadrille fabrics gave the dining room that grandmillenial feel.

The master bedroom also received a full makeover.  The bed was custom made to the clients’ specifications which will now be a family heirloom for sure.  Again the use of both antiques found locally, reproduction antiques, gorgeous fabric and loads of trim gave the room the perfect vibe we were looking for.  Sentimental accessories and a custom dog bed make the space unique.

The client’s daughter got in on the design of her bathroom makeover.  Desiring an “old fashioned” feel, we used gorgeous Sister Parish wallpaper in her favorite hue. New tile, fixtures, updated vanity and a monogrammed shower curtain round out the design.
