Renewing History

This project was a full scale remodel and large addition featured on Houze and Boerne Lifestyle Magazine.  The centerpiece of the home dates to the 1800s and predates the founding of Boerne.

Once the remodel began, the original log cabin was unveiled. It was extremely important to honor the history of the home, while building a modern home around it.  We used reclaimed wood, reclaimed brick, antique lighting and other antique pieces  to bring history to the new parts of the home.  The unique quirks of the original home were embraced and provided opportunities for creativity.
