Boerne Designer, Sarah Hardin, wins an astounding FIVE 1st place awards at the annual ASID Pinnacle of Design Awards!

The San Antonio chapter of ASID, The American
Society of Interior Designers, hosted their annual Pinnacle of Design Awards. First time attendee, Sarah Hardin, owner of the Boerne based interior design firm, Sarah Hardin Design, won an incredible FIVE awards.

Throughout the United States ASID hosts their annual awards to celebrate local designers and recognize excellence in their field in various categories. The San Antonio chapter held their annual awards, The Pinnacle of Design Awards, on September 5, 2024, at The Summer Classics Showroom.

Sarah Hardin, of the Boerne based interior design firm, Sarah Hardin Design, was a first-time attendee and big winner of the evening. Sarah won in the following five categories: 1st Place Residential -entire residence under 5000 sf, 1st Place Dining Room- New Construction, 1st place Outdoor Living, 1st Place Powder Room, and 1st place Adaptive Reuse/Historic Preservation/Sustainable Design.

THE SCOUT GUIDE

Sarah Hardin Design was honored to be featured in The Hill Country Scout Guide as one of their “Favorites” interior designers. Being highlighted alongside other standout local businesses celebrated her growing reputation in the Hill Country design community and showcased her talent for transforming homes with creativity, warmth, and an eye for detail. This feature further solidified her place as a go-to designer for clients seeking beautifully curated spaces that reflect both personality and lifestyle.

BOERNE LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE

Sarah Hardin Design was proudly featured in the April 2024 edition of Boerne Lifestyle Magazine, highlighting the very first home Sarah ever designed—her own. The spread showcased her thoughtful renovation of a historic property, where she worked closely with a builder to restore its character while furnishing it with her signature style. This project, deeply personal and rooted in both preservation and creativity, became the spark that launched her design career. As friends and family admired the transformation, they began reaching out to Sarah for help with their own homes, ultimately paving the way for her to turn her passion for design into a thriving business.

Houzz published a full feature article on Sarah Hardin’s historic family home titled “Historic Textures Meet Modern Touches in Texas Hill Country” on November 16, 2015, marking one of the very first major features for Sarah Hardin Design. Located in Boerne, Texas, the 4,888-square-foot home, originally built in 1850, includes four bedrooms and three and a half baths.In the renovation, Sarah blended the charm of Southern New Orleans–inspired design elements with modern updates, creating a home that honors its storied past while offering fresh livability. The article highlighted her thoughtful approach to preserving historic textures while layering in refined furnishings and contemporary touches—a design philosophy that has become a hallmark of her work.

STONE OAK CITY LIFESTYLE

Sarah Hardin Design was also featured in Stone Oak City Lifestyle Magazine for her vibrant and colorful Boot Ranch project, located on a stunning golf course in Fredericksburg. This home was designed to embrace bold patterns, lively hues, and layered textures, creating a fresh yet inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances sophistication with playfulness. The magazine highlighted how Sarah infused each space with personality while still honoring the relaxed elegance of its Hill Country setting. The Boot Ranch project stands as a testament to her ability to craft homes that are not only beautiful but also deeply reflective of the lifestyle and spirit of their surroundings.
